DR. JOHN ROGERS SMITH, Associate Professor, Department of Petroleum Engineering, Louisiana State University focuses on drilling, especially well control, managed pressure drilling, and bit performance in deep drilling in his teaching and research. Smith worked for Amoco Production Company in drilling, production, facilities and research for over 20 years.
