I work for WWL-TV in New Orleans. Are we allowed to bring a camera into this meeting on Monday, or is this a network pool situation. I can be reached at 504-529-6384.
Thanks,
Lamar Bourgeois

Hello,

Will the hearings be streamed live on the internet? And if so, will they be archived for later viewing?

If this is the case, can you please let me know what website this will be on?

Thanks very much,

John Coughlan

When you are checking into things, I hope you look into the backgrounds of all workers who had access to the well and drilling equipment. I do not think this was an accident; I think it was sabotage. The only way to stop ocean drilling was to have a catastrophe - so a catastrophe happened!
Thanks,

Will the search for 'root causes' include looking at the replacement of labor with oil-based Systems of systems on farms and in small towns, including the lack of the real cost of oil at the point of purchase, and how that has increased demand for oil that we shouldn't need if we lived according to our needs?
How about the tax code and deductions for advertising expenses and how people are coerced into living lives that are dependent on oil instead of lives dependent on their own hands?
We have spent the last 100 years replacing people on farms with oil, and yet, nobody is trying to put all of those unemployed people back to work on farms without oil. Is that going to be addressed as part of the failure of drilling for oil without oversight?
Will you address how bureaucrats will do anything BUT the things in their job descriptions?

Is there a need for more manpower to help with the oil spill? My name is Michael S. Burnett and I have been trying to contact various organizations in regard to providing support in the oil spill cleanup. I am seeking employment in the oil spill effort and I am willing to relocation to the region(s). I realize that this cleanup project will take many years to complete, if its even possible to complete. But I'm optimistical. I'm on standby, Mike out.
