will the new orleans public meetings next week be webcast or will in-person attendance be the only way to view the 2-day commission meeting?

in a few spots on your site you have links to "http://www.oilspillcommission.gov/contact-us"

that page does not exist. I believe you meant to link to "http://www.oilspillcommission.gov/contact-us-or-general-comment" instead.

I have seen two instances of this error:
http://www.oilspillcommission.gov/page/public-comment-policy (embedded in the main part of the page)
and
http://www.oilspillcommission.gov/page/about-commission (see "contact us" at the bottom of the page)
however I did not do an exhaustive search for this error - you need to scrub the while site.

A cad drafters thought, would an additional blowout preventer shipside prevented the problem. The shipside blowout preventer lacks foundation that seafloor side blowout preventer enjoys. So shipside blowout preventer would have to transfer load to ship and use the ship weight to counter the load. The danger, I see in shipside blowout preventer if open pipe separates from ship then fuel will be in the water and in the emergency escape route of personnel.

I sent in a credential request for coverage for WVUE-TV in New Orleans. Can someone contact me regarding questions for coverage?
Thank you.

Hello. I would like to know how I may apply for a staff position with the Commission. I have a JD degree and an LL.M degree (with a specialty in environmental law), as well as significant experience practicing environmental law. (One of my prior jobs in environmental law was as an environmental enforcement attorney for the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. I had to negotiate settlement agreements with the enforced community for a variety of environmental violations. In doing so I worked closely with engineers and hydrologists.) I also have significant claims experience having worked for Swiss Reinsurance handling their toxic tort and Superfund claims.

I live in New Orleans and I am not currently working because I am pursuing an MBA degree from UNO on a part time basis. I have more than enough time to get involved in your very important Commission.

Please tell me how I may send you my resume. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I understand other countries, Norway and Canada, do not allow any drilling without relief wells. Why does the U.S.?
In 1979 an oil spill happened in the Gulf of Mexico, why 30 yrs later did a similar thing happen and we still don't have a solution?
I believe when money is the bottom line the environment suffers.
As a member of the democracy of the U.S., I am responsible for what has happened. I obviously have not been protesting loud enough.
The time has come for our elected officials to be held accountable. Hard to happen in Louisiana where most all senators and congressional representatives have received millions of dollars from the oil companies.

The 'subject areas' under each comment feedback category are associated incorrectly.

Currently:

Guarding Against Oil Spills --> Select "Economic, Environmental,..."

Mitigating the Impacts of Oil Spills --> Select "Laws and Regulations, Safety Standards,...."

Please fix this monster and clean this horrible toxic mess. We're losing our seafood, our fishing industry, our culture, OUR LAKE, OUR GULF.

Will transcripts of the July 12th and 13th meetings be made available to the public? If so, how would I obtain them?
