Dear Sir or Madam,

I'm a writer for E: The Environmental Magazine. We are doing a short article on the National Commission's report, particularly the recommendations section, and what is likely to happen going forward. Would it be possible to arrange an interview with a spokesperson for the commission?

Thank you very much.

Sincerely,

Ethan Goffman

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you because I believe that your Commission is interested in the development of a rapid response system to capture and contain spilled oil in the sea. My company has developed a concept of innovative system for capturing and recovering spilled oil.
Our light weight portable onboard system is inexpensive, since the major units are made of polymer sheets. It can be easily deployed to the location of the oil spill, unwrapped and worked continuously on any ship adaptable for installation of the temporary equipment. There are several alternative new concepts for resolving the spilled oil problem that we are working on now.
To explain my background, I have an MS in Mechanical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. I have worked for major European and domestic chemical companies. I am a professional inventor, with 15 patents granted and 3 patents pending. In addition, I am also a small craft hobbyist.
I would be happy to present a description of the system at your lab’s request.
Thank you very much for your consideration,

HI, I am a Reuters reporter currently writing a book about BP - a corporate history of the past 20 years. I read a Wall Street Journal report yesterday about emails that highlight workers' concerns about the constant changes in the Macondo well drill plan in the run-up to the accident. Would it be possible for me to get a copy of those emails?
Thank you

Unless your commission is just for show, you should check this out: An Oil Capturing Device (patent pending) that would have captured and re-directed all of the oil spilling into the gulf after the third day. All of the oil! This system is easily transported, costs only $200 million to build, and with a fleet of 20 units worldwide, any leak could be reached and contained within 3 days.

A fleet of 20 can be built by American Shipbuilders, using American Labor (4 Billion Dollar Contract)
A copy of this message is being sent to President Obama and every member of Congress.

Attempts were made to present this system to all concerned parties with no response. If you are serious about eliminating the threat of future pollution, I suggest that you contact Robert Newsteder care of: donald@tellpresidentobama.com

On the remote possibility that no one replies to this message, I also plan to distribute this to every major newspaper and magazine in the country.

If you or anyone in the commission chooses to disregard this message, at least acknowledge the fact that you received it and have no further interest.

Thank you.

Good afternoon,

I am organising a conference on Well integrity taking place in London in June and would like to invite Bob Graham to speak at the event or another senior representative from the commission to discuss the findings. Could you please let me know how to best contact the commission? Thank you,

Hi there,I wrote to White House(early June)when they were thinking strongly of Bombing the inside of the Maconda well.I wrote it {would cry forever}if they went with that plan.I gave them the solution on sealing the disaster.Weight was important,{75tonne}was greater than the rising pressure...!On the inside of the new stacking cap,was a TIMBER made washer. As I knew, timber will swell in water. When robots dropped new cap into old,They had to hold tough for 18 hours or so,To turn off new cap valves. The reason for the 18 hours, was to allow the timber to swell into the rising pipe..All my letters were registered and collected..Not even a thanks did receive from THE PRESIDENT.The first letter,,oil related, was written on envelope, along with Mr o'Bama,s name. The difference about that man and I is,I care about life,he cares of His dollar.Prior to my intelligence,Bp nor obama team had 2 unsuccessful attempts, at Hoping of sealing same. Why do they ignore a man,who spent many hours,on thinking of a way to Stop the oil spill disaster.Thanking You,patrick

I'm a reference librarian with the United States Senate Library. The library has a hard copy of the Commission's final report and recommendations to lend to Senate staff. I'm also aware of the electronic versions of the Commission's work and that the Government Printing Office and Amazon.com sell copies of the report. But I'm wondering if a copy or two of the printed version of the recommendations might be made available for a Senator's office. I can be reached via e-mail or at 202-224-7106. Thank you.
